Get through that series of interviews. Win that life-changing promotion.
Stop coming second.

Being ‘good enough’ doesn’t cut it anymore. Whether you're an experienced senior executive interviewing again for the first time in years, a young graduate approaching your first interview process or somewhere inbetween - you need to tell your story briefly and well.

Wherever you are in the corporate pyramid, you have to stand out - in a good way! The competition is incredibly strong at every level and, let's face it, coming second sucks. No job, no medal. I coached an Olympian who never spoke about it... because they came 4th - no medal. I know an Olympian Silver medallist who beats himself up because - no Gold. In interviews, you have to win gold, to come first.

Only 20% of applicants get an interview.

An HR Director once told me that in their industry roughly 120 people apply for any given job and a maximum of 20% of applicants (on a good day) get an interview. These numbers vary from industry to industry and from graduate level to C suite, but the ratios tell a common and stark story. As you move up the corporate pyramid, the number of competitors decreases but the calibre and experience of the competitors increases. Whatever level you are at in the pyramid - the competition is tough. I help my clients prepare for their worst case opponent - the nightmare competitor. That Silver medallist told me you have to be good enough to win on your worst day against your best competitor.

“You have to be good enough to win on your worst day against your best competitor."

While your competition is tougher than ever before, the interview process is also becoming tougher - it’s becoming longer, more searching and more demanding. 5 or even 6 stage processes are common and people are excluded at every single stage. You have to get through every hoop, make every interview count. I help you prepare to tell your story better in all these stages: drafting your cover letter, CV writing, telephone interviews, video interviews, the increasingly common assessment centres, Executive Assessment panels, hybrid video and live panel interviews, sensitive lobbying and CEO 1-2-1 “fireside chats”.

Interview preparation is standard in 2021. Winners know this. Winners don’t wing it.

Will you be guaranteed to get your dream job after working with me? No. Of course not. My only promise to you is that I won’t ever lie to you… even if you wished I sometimes did! But I promise you, I guarantee, you will be significantly better than before working with me, you will be able to tell your story with more focus and more eloquently, confidently and briefly - and you will get further through the process.
