A Facebook friend recently said that they stood "shoulder to shoulder" with the people of Libya. An understandable update, a valid update. But what does it achieve? Much has been written on Clicktivism. Facebook groups abound with members who join but who don't donate, don't write letters and don't do anything except for clicking and feeling better because of it. If something annoys you, write a letter to a newspaper or your MP or the Prime Minister, organise something, donate, get involved. Cliches and clicking don't get things done.
