Storytelling Workshops
Stories, brand and reputation are all "BigBossJobs" - responsibility of the CEO, but the CEO can't be the only storyteller. Each individual in a business has a story about why they joined the company, why they stayed, what the company does. Those stories are real, believable and personal. (If they are good) - you want them told.
Storytelling workshops helps your people tell their version of your story to potential and existing customers, potential recruits and suppliers. The ripple from your people telling great stories is the essence of brand and adds value everywhere - especially the bottom line.
The stories told by your team can't be copy-and-paste accounts of someone else's story or a rehashed corporate story but they do need to be consistent - with a common silver thread running through them. They also need to be told well, in a memorable and re-tellable way.
Compelling stories need to be both bespoke and personal to each person speaking at recruitment fairs, interviewing, working on bids and pitches or representing you at conferences or networking events, as well as matching the corporate narrative.
You need great storytellers throughout the organisation.
Storytelling with a Purpose
One of my favourite clients is a Silicon Valley startup that saves lives by delivering medical products "the last mile" - a well known, global logistical issue. I coached their people involved in recruitment and business development. They were already believers rather than employees, but their enthusiasm alone wasn't having the required impact. I worked with them to help harness and precision their enthusiasm for the WHY of the company to equip them in two crucial areas: talent recruitment (recruitment fairs, interview processes) and business development (governments, aviation authorities, companies were just 3 of their 26 main stakeholders).
I labelled their stories 'tech with purpose' because they were doing intellectually challenging technical work with a purpose other than pure profit. Telling better stories well, helped them choose, recruit and retain fantastic people from an increasingly good pool of applicants and turn complex prospective clients into ongoing real ones.

Storytelling workshops at IBM
"I had the opportunity and pleasure to meet Peter during a Marketing boot camp organised by IBM for its M&C team in India. I have been an aspiring story teller ever since. Peter is a sharp and engaging “Storytelling Coach.” In the Storytelling workshop that he was conducting for us in IBM, I experienced his brilliant coaching skills around the aspects of public speaking, communication, story telling and delivering impactful message to the audience/listeners.
Peter is helpful, enthusiastic and grounded and these qualities about him helped me approach him to talk beyond the workshop in which he guided me about taking my story telling and content marketing aspirations forward. What Peter observes about his participants is beyond ordinary and his feedback is deeply helpful. Besides the skills and knowledge Peter has, his humility, amazing sense of understanding people, and high perception make him a unique person and a stellar Coach.
I have been fortunate to be trained by Peter in the Storytelling workshop and to stay connected ever since. I recommend Peter highly for Storytelling Workshops and coaching." - Kadambini Rana
