– They should just pick up the phone, let’s talk, read through the website, see the references that I’ve been able to put up there, that have been authorized by my clients and, but understand when things are happening, because there’s not much work to be done before you come to see me, but there’s a bunch of homework to be done after you come to see me. So don’t come and see me the day before your interview, don’t come and see me the day before you’ve got an AGM speech and you’ve got shaky results. An AGM speech is often worked on three, four months in advance. If you’re going for a big interview, whether you’re trying to get a job as a graduate, or get promoted, or make partner, you should be seeing me three, four weeks in advance, because there’s 15, 20 hours of homework at least on any of those as a minimum, and you need to be able to fit those into your schedule and let the work that we do percolate through you head.
